Nathaniel J. Wallace joined Meirowitz & Wasserberg in 2023. Fierce advocacy for his clients is a hallmark of his practice. He has been both a client and lawyer for cancer-related lawsuits and has seen the havoc they can wreak on families. Empathy guides his approach, and he is honored to help families during what is often one of the most challenging times of their lives. He is grateful he can help give his clients comfort, knowing their loved ones will be taken care of as they battle a terminal illness. 

Nate was selected for inclusion in the Illinois Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” by the advisory board in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, a distinction awarded to only 2/5 percent of all Illinois attorneys.

Prior to joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, Nate worked as an associate attorney for several prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firms in Chicago. Nate’s experience covered a broad range of cases involving nursing home litigation, toxic and mass tort litigation, premise liability, civil rights cases, maritime, railroad, and automobile collisions. Nate’s primary area of practice continues to be serving victim of asbestos exposure, representing clients throughout the country.

Nate received his B.A. in Public Policy from Michigan State University, then went on to obtain his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, he was named to the Dean’s List and was the brief writer for Loyola Law School’s American Bar Association Moot Court Team. Nate showed his commitment to the community by obtaining his 711 License and participating in Loyola Law School’s Community Law Clinic, where he was appointed as guardian ad litem for minors living in Cook County, Illinois.

Originally from southeast Michigan, Nate grew up in the Metro Detroit area near Ann Arbor. Outside the office, he is an avid biker and skier and loves spending time with his family in northern Michigan.

Nate is admitted to practice law in Illinois, as well as in the United State District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
