Gina Nicasio is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Team in the New York and New Jersey offices, where she handles a wide range of plaintiff’s personal injury matters, including (but not limited to) motor vehicle accident cases, premises cases, asbestos cases, and sex abuse cases. She is passionate about helping others and her experience with victim advocacy, in and out of the courtroom, has lent her the skills necessary to fight for her client’s rights. Prior to attending law school, Gina worked as a litigation paralegal at a prominent Manhattan based plaintiff’s law firm for over two decades, handling personal injury cases and overseeing the firm’s complex asbestos litigation docket. She is well-versed in all aspects of litigation, including civil procedure, case work up, and trial preparation.
Gina is a New York native, who hails from Whitestone, Queens. She graduated from Pace University, Cum Laude, where she majored in Professional Communications and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Pace Law School. While in Law School, Gina participated in the Pace Women’s Justice Program where she worked extensively with victims of Domestic Violence in preparing and presenting their cases to the Yonkers and White Plains Family Courts. Additionally, throughout law school, Gina served as a member of the Court Advocates Program (CAP), working with victims of Domestic Violence in Queens, Brooklyn, and Bronx County Family Courts. In her final year of law school, she was a CAP coordinator, recruiting and connecting students with families in need. Gina is fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish.
